Frank Shaw, Microsoft’s head of communications, made the announcement on the company blog, noting that this year’s CES (which is in a few weeks) would be the last one featuring both a Microsoft keynote and even a Microsoft booth.

Like Apple before them, Microsoft apparently decided to move on from the notion of a big conference dictating their early year news and release cycle. Or that’s how Shaw framed it, at least:

We’ll continue to participate in CES as a great place to connect with partners and customers across the PC, phone and entertainment industries, but we won’t have a keynote or booth after this year because our product news milestones generally don’t align with the show’s January timing.

But wait.

Apple and Google independently developing wearable, reality augmenting smartphones | Digital Trends
Rumors are flying about Apple and Google both developing their own versions of wearable, augmented reality smartphone devices.
Some of us are quite attached to our mobile devices, much to the chagrin of anything and anyone that isn’t a smartphone screen. Apple and Google are reportedly looking to change that. They want to integrate our smartphones into daily life better by developing wearable mobile devices that act more like a window to the real world, rather than a screen.
According to the New York Times Bits blog, Apple has been secretly working on a wearable computer, much like the wrist worn iPod Nano, which will integrate Siri. The NYT sources say that a small number of Apple employees have been rounded up for “conceptualizing and even prototyping some wearable devices.” One device the company is toying with was described as a wrist worn “curved-glass iPod.”
On the Google end, the search giant has been tasking researchers at the secret Google X labs to develop devices that relay information to your Android powered smartphone. Google has reportedly been hiring a slew of engineers who specialize in wearable computers from engineering universities or places like Nokia Labs and Apple.

He finally said it..

Today he finally said it. I never thought that after just 3 years I’d hear that but today Arnold said he didn’t love me that much anymore. I’m currently crying my eyes out. I deserve it. I’m really sad. This pain is killing me and all I can do is think about how much i love him.
